Managed File Transfer, MFT, is relevant and important, go figure… Starting with a simple engine for file transfers, then adding on features and functions, MFT is just like Frankenstein’s Monster, it’s ALIVE. Unlike the popularity consumer file sharing services, MFT, is intended to business partners to have a common and secure ground for exchange of file-data. Beyond the protocols (sftp, scp, https, etc) supported are the triggers, schedules, alerts, and transformations.
